HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER
OPTION ONE: MEET IN PERSON
I live in Temecula, CA, so when time and distance allow, I'm happy to meet with couples in person for free in my home or another mutually convenient location (often we can find a Denny's restaurant that works for both of us) so you can decide if you are comfortable with me, have your questions answered, and go over/customize the ceremony to make it just right for you. Our time together in person typically takes about 1hr 30 minutes.
OPTION TWO: TALK BY PHONE OR FACETIME/SKYPE/ZOOM
If time or distance don't permit meeting in person, we can set an appointment for a phone conversation, usually with the two of you on speakerphone on your end, to go carefully through the ceremony to make all the right adjustments. Phone conversations usually take about an hour. Call me or text me any day, 9am-9pm at 951-234-6538 to set an appointment for a longer conversation for which we can all prepare. You can also write to me at SoCalChristianWeddings@yahoo.com
Every couple is unique, and your wedding ceremony or vow renewal can be too. I take time to get to know you individually, consult with you for free, either in person or by phone/FaceTime/Skype/Zoom to learn what you want in a ceremony and co-create with you a ceremony that is just right for you--personalized, romantic, spiritually meaningful, and fun, all at the same time. Whether you want something on short notice or if you have more time to plan, you will receive the utmost in professional pastoral care and advice with timely responses to your needs and communications.

THE PROCESS AND THE PRODUCT
Once you contact me with your name and a few basics concerning your ceremony, I will send an initial draft of my wedding officiant script by email to give you a sense of order and flow, and then we work together in person or by phone to make the ceremony your own. If you want something "short and sweet," then what I send initially to you will likely be just what you're looking for, in modern, straightforward language--we can even trim it down a little. But for couples who want to take the time, I can offer you many options for you to review of wordings for your vows, exchange of rings, my prayers for you, and different readings from the Bible. Some brides want to be given away by their father or another loved one; others do not prefer this element--we will work all that out easily to your wishes. We can add wordings for a unity candle, a sand or wine ceremony, a butterfly or dove release, or many other options (you provide the materials at your cost). You can add a special song, poem, or reading, and involve friends and family members as you wish. Most ceremonies last about 20 minutes; if you choose to add optional elements it may last as long as 25 minutes.here.
